FREE 15 Minute Video Call
Your first step is getting a free consult. My practice is driven by relationships, which is why the relationship between you and I is very important. I offer a free 15 to 25-minute call by online video to make sure we work well together.
When you schedule a consult we will connect through my confidential HIPAA compliant online video service. Our call together is an opportunity to talk about:
-
Any questions you have about my training
-
Any questions you have about my process
-
Discuss any concerns you might have
-
Talk about future together
-
See if we will be a good fit together
Once we make the connection, and if we both agree I would be a good fit, you will have open access to schedule your first full appointment.
Schedule your FREE consult TODAY and start your journey towards a more connected relationship
"One day something just flipped, I realized all the clothes, furniture, gadgets, and distractions I had spent my money on meant nothing. I realized the most important investment I could make would be in my own well being" -Anonymous
As an Independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am considered an out-of-network provider with most insurances. When you work with an Out-of-network therapist you have control over treatment, not the insurance company. Care and treatment can be tailored to you and your needs, from length of sessions to how often we meet. It also means increased privacy while having a therapist whom is sensitive to you, your values, culture, religion, and sexual and gender orientation and expression.
Being out-of-network means you pay for sessions at the time of services and I do not personally bill your insurance company, but give you a monthly statement (Superbill) giving you the choice to use your insurance. This does not guarantee reimbursement, you are responsible for contacting your insurance company to check out-of-network benefits.
Session Costs
Free - Video Consult (15 min)
$350 - initial evaluation (90 min)
$300 - ongoing 90 min appointment
$200 - ongoing 50 min session
Gender Affirming Letter - Letter and one session are both free. Please contact to schedule. I use an informed consent model.
I offer a limited amount of reduced cost sessions. I have no reduced cost slots at this time.
Payment Options
Debit/Credit Card
Health Savings Account (HSA) Cards
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Cards
I am private pay, out-of-network provider, which means you are responsible for payment of services.
I provide documentation (a Superbill) monthly with all of the necessary information for you to complete a claim to request insurance reimbursement should you choose to request it.
This does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance, as it depends on your plan and insurance company.
Cancellation Policy: The scheduling of an appointment involves the reservations of time specifically for you. I need 24 hours in advance notice when you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment start time, you will be charged the full rate of session. Direct message through client portal, as well as the office voicemail, are available 24/7. Please be aware that continued missed appointments, without notice, may lead to termination of services.
-
For example: If your appointment is at 3:00 pm on Wednesday and you cancel at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, you will not be charged. If you cancel at 3:15 pm on Tuesday, you would be charged full cost of Wednesday's session.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
